Since 2009, Attorney Pamela L. Shaplin has had a solo law practice with a concentration on residential real estate transactions.
Attorney Shaplin has built her practice on the foundation of providing a high level of service to her clients coupled with over 10 years of experience focused on residential real estate. She personally handles each of her closings, and is always available for questions from her clients, as well as the realtors and lenders.
No two transactions are alike, and it is critical for clients to work with an Attorney who believes in a team approach to get a transaction to the closing table. Attorney Shaplin is responsive, understands local customs, has expertise navigating the local bar contracts, and has encountered many of the hurdles that can arise throughout a transaction. Her experience allows her to close loans for almost every lending institution, and she is vetted by Secure Insight as a Registered Agent. She has been selected by “Super Lawyers” as a Rising Star several times since 2008, a distinction given to more than 2.5% of the top Attorneys in their field.
Attorney Shaplin is a 2002 graduate of Union College, and 2005 graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law (magna cum laude). Prior to practicing real estate, she was a commercial litigation associate at a large local firm. She is admitted to practice in Connecticut State and Federal Courts, and is a member of the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association and Connecticut Bar Association. She has also served on the Board of Trinity Parish Nursery School in Southport. Pam lives in Fairfield with her husband Peter, and their two children.
